Physics Interview (Oxford)
Has anyone received an interview invitation from Oxford for physics yet? I know it might be a bit early to ask but because the PAT was all multiple choice this year and therefore quicker to mark, I thought we might receive interview invitations sooner.

He took both Pat and Esat (for Imperial), and found Esat harder… Rather happy with Pat—but we’ll see when the scores come out

Haven't received any updates, but rejections come first so i guess waiting is good?

I didn't think rejections came first. I just assumed you'd never get an invitation and that would be the end of it🤔

I think most would get a rejection email. It probably depends on the individual colleges, as rejections sometimes seem to be just before and other times same day or just after!

no, the wait is unbearable does anyone know the deadline for interview invitations, like when do they stop handing them out

Not officially, but probably about a week before the date of the interview period - so probably last day for physics is around 4th December?? I think it will be late this week, or early next. It is unbearable. Good luck everyone

I think they usually start coming out on the 28th to the 2nd ish? but this was last year and things have changed

In previous years it has been these dates when they have handed out interviews so they are actually quite late this year, ironic given that it was all multiple choice...
1.
2022: Invitations were sent around November 23–25.
2.
2021: Invitations were sent around November 24–26.
3.
2020: Invitations were sent around November 25–27.
4.
2019: Invitations were sent around November 22–25.
5.
2018: Invitations were sent around November 23–26.

I've applied for physics and philosophy and haven't heard anything yet. Some people are saying they'll give out more interviews this year because of the test format being changed, so they may be taking longer to come to their decision. The interview are in the secomd and third weeks of december though so i hope we find out soon
