St George's University of London (SGUL) A101 2025 Entry

I wanted to make a thread since there didn't seem to be one for this year!

I'm hoping we can let each other know when we start receiving interview invites and offers, or if there's any other advice we could help each other with, at least pertaining to this application cycle :smile:

Hey I applied blindly and just recently got my GAMSAT 55 and I am so worried as the cut of the last couple of years was 56. would love to know when people start receiving interview invites

Hi there, I applied too!

Congratulations on your score, I know it's hard not to worry because this whole process is so draining, but that's still competitive and you have a good chance of getting in 🙂 !

Especially because it seems the trend with the GAMSAT the last few years has been to decrease!

I am not sure if/when to start preparing for this as they are doing their undergraduate interviews at the moment and seems a bit like they may come out a lot later?

Yes I'm really hoping it goes down this year I don't even need much. I just need it to go down to 55 and the interview is on me

I also got 55 on Gamsat, first sitting NSD. waiting to hear from SGUL. A bit nerve wrecking applying without knowing your Gamsat score then getting something on the fence. Anyone know when did they start sending invites&rejections last year?

Last year they sent the interview invites on the 29th of January. The timing isn’t the same every year, so it’s entirely possible they send them earlier this year.

I got a GAMSAT score of 56, but an S3 score of 49. Am I doomed or does anyone think I'd be able to seep through to interview if the cut off remains as is?

Unfortunately even though you are likely to meet the minimum overall score cutoff (it was 56 for the last 2 years), you also need a minimum score of 50 in all 3 sections. You are very unlucky being just 1 mark off.

Where else have you applied? Any UCAT unis?

Nope, still (anxiously!) waiting. I had an email just before xmas asking me for some certificates, nothing other than that. Really hope it is next week!
