You will receive a zero for Paper 2, and your grade will be entirely based on your Paper 1 mark.

In what way were the timings unclear?

so If I got a 9 in paper 2 will it count for the whole grade?
applied for the exam thru British Council, since I m a British Citizen they sent UK timings instead of the timings of the country in giving the exam in.
For Paper 1 my mum asked someone else the timings thats why I got to do it
edexcel didnt say "uk time" on the statement of entry.

Please clarify which paper you missed. Your first post says you "missed edexcel igcse physics p2 but did p1". Now you're asking, "If I got a 9 in paper 2" - but that's the paper you missed.

Paper 1 is out of 110 marks, and Paper 2 is out of 70 marks. No weighting is applied, with the total IGCSE being out of 180 marks.

You will be marked as having zero for the paper you missed. That will be added to the mark you gained in the paper you did, and divided by 180 to get your overall percentage.
