experiencing feelings for a friend

A few months ago I met someone through some mutual friends and we became great friends, in fact best friends. Every time we meet with each other, we instantly get talking about sex. We're both females and we both don't know what our sexuality is, but we know we're not straight.

Recently, the sex talk has been coming more intense, we've been making sexual innuendos and it's clear whose "submissive" and who isn't. We've been joking a lot about growing old together and we've spoken openly about past relationships. Today, I haven't stopped thinking about my best friend sexually. I've been at the library trying to catch up on assignments and she's occupying my mind and it's distracting me from completing my assignments.

I have had relationships and I'm not a virgin but I've mostly been "not sexually active" which is why my relationships tend to fail. With her I feel horny all the time and I'm experiencing feelings I have never really felt before. I don't know what to do and if it's worth pursuing. I'm feeling all sorts of feelings that I never felt before, I feel more sexually active with her.

It sounds like you've got a really good basis for something, if you're both (emphasis on both) actively making sexual innuendoes, and you've connected emotionally to the point that you're comfortable talking about past relationships.

It's for you to decide whether it's worth the emotional risk of making a move physically or pursuing romance. But if it was ever worth it, it's probably worth it here. You probably don't need to make a big dramatic confession; it seems like she's probably very much aware that you've got some feelings for her.
