What do you know about these unis ?

Hi all ,
I’m interested in University of York and University College London . Never had a chance to go there on open day but any ideas how study and social lives are there ? Anything would be helpful x
I haven't been to York, but personally I really liked UCL based on the open day. I guess, because it's in London it doesn't necessarily feel like a typical university experience. I've heard the nightlife is good, but everything is super expensive. It's close to home for me so I could see my parents more often and I really like it for my particular course (Biology).
Hello!

I study biochemistry at the university of York and I absolutely love being here. It is a campus university so everything is within walking distance. All first year students live on campus accommodations and can easily walk to classes in the mornings. There are many study spaces around including our three library buildings that open 24h during exam periods. The night life in York is good but small, but Leeds is easily accessible by train so a lot of people will go there as well for a night out. Aside from that, we have many societies and a great sense of student community here. I made friends very easily upon joining different societies and from my degree as well. The city of York is also beautiful with a rich history and is also walking distance from the University so we can enjoy both a campus life and a small city life.
