Hi, my son has an interview at Pembroke in a couple of weeks and one of his school friends is also interviewing for engineering (at Downing I think)

Hi, I'm also applying to Pembroke for engineering this year. Do you mind if i ask how the application process went? How did he find the ESAT and interview?

Hello, he was pooled I’m afraid & not picked up, so probably heading for Bath or Bristol. He did well in the ESAT, but found the interview tough - with hindsight he could have done with more support for it, but his school don’t really offer much support. There were about 180 applications last year for 14 places I believe so it’s very competitive. Good luck!
