Registered with SAAS but need SFE funding

Hi

I'm a british national.

I applied to SAAS for funding as I live in Scotland. They refused because they could not confirm my residency prior to the course start date September 2024 in Scotland and they advised I apply to SFE.

I set up an SFE account using my Scottish address. SFE website said they could not process a Scottish address.

What do I do now to apply for SFE funding?

Do I use my parents address in England - even though I don't live there anymore?
Do I say that I have applied for student finance before because I did but through SAAS?

I am so confused.

I did see another post where it was suggested I use the paper application form. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/672b70cdfbd69e1861921c32/sfe_pn1_form_2425_o.pdf But if I do what address will I use england parents or my Scotland address and will it link to the SAAS application?

If there is anyone from SFE or SAAS who can advise I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Hi there,

As you moved to Scotland, is this only for study purposes? Or do you now reside fully in Scotland?

Thanks,
Ross
