I don't quite understand your question. Do you mean what GCSE subjects do you recommend people to pick if they want to do a bachelor's in Interior Design at UAL?

If so, the following is the GCSE entry requirements for the degree (https://www.arts.ac.uk/subjects/architecture-spatial-and-interior-design/undergraduate/ba-hons-interior-design-chelsea#application-process):
"3 GCSE passes at grade 4 or above (grade A*-C)"

In other words, they don't really care what GCSE subjects you pick so long you have at least 3 subjects that are graded 4 or above. Sounds harsh, but true.
Having said that, you would need your GCSEs to be above a certain grade to get into specific colleges. In this sense, you would need to check the entry requirements for the specific college that you want to go to and for the courses that you specifically want to do.

You could do GCSEs in something as random as French, Food tech, History, and Music, and still get in. GCSE Art isn't strictly a requirement.
Having said that, if you intend to do an arty subject, then it's a good idea to pick GCSE Art for the practice. However, you don't specifically need this to study the degree.

The entry requirements for the level 3 qualification from college that you need for the above degree can be one of either:

2 A Levels at grade C or above

Merit, Pass, Pass (MPP) at BTEC Extended Diploma

Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art and Design (Level 3 or 4)

Access to Higher Education Diploma

Again, they did not specify the subjects you need in your level 3 (except for the Foundation Diploma) so long you get the grades.
