AQA GCSE english literature paper 1 - mock exams

I have an English literature mock wedged between my physics and chemistry mocks 😭, as such I just want to know some good quotes through out Macbeth and A Christmas carol that I could use for any question and any tips for English lit as its my worst subject. I don't have time to revise but I want to be able to do some grade 9 worthy analysis, you know, judicious quotes and perceptive analysis, allat.

Have you checked out the Mr Salles teaches English YouTube channel, for my mock a couple of weeks back I just watched his videos where he analyses 10 or so key quotes from the novels, I watched the Macbeth one, and it was pretty good, don't know about A Christmas carol though. English is my worst subject too so i'm probably not the best person to give advice, but good luck!

IKR.. english is just so hard becuz theres no definite quote or analysis for every theme and it may not fit the context of the given extract. I'll check out Mr Salles but I have heard that one of the things he says in the macbeth video was wrong and lost someone I know their marks, which pushed them down a grade.

thanks for telling me, cos I would have used the wrong stuff in my exams😥
I much prefer science and maths as there is mostly one correct answer and if you write it down you get the marks. I find English marking so wishy washy and I never really know how to improve. Another thing I did to revise though was get chat gtp to give me a single quote at a time from my novels, and then I would make inferences for
the quote. Then chat gtp would tell me more/better inferences I could have made. I
found this worked for me, but the AI might give some incorrect inferences so you
might want to look out for that😁
