Well, ordinarily I'd refer you to the UCAS page for the course, as it's "Historical entry grades data" section should give you some indication of what grades they've accepted in the recent past. Unfortunately, for Architecture at Edinburgh that page (
here) simply says, "We are unable to show previous accepted grades for this course. This could be because the course is new, it’s a postgraduate course, there isn’t enough historical data, or the provider has opted out of sharing their entry grades data for this course." Not very helpful.
So, as an alternative, I'll refer you to the DiscoverUni page for the course,
here. If you scroll down to the "Entry information" section you can see the UCAS Tariff points for entrants in 2022-23. This data was collected from the university itself and covers 90 students. However, it is often difficult to make sense of, as - like the data usually available via UCAS - it doesn't differentiate between contextual and non-contextual applicants, and because it shows that 6% of applicants had fewer then 96 UCAS points - which seems very unlikely.
However, even if your A* predictions turn into As, the fact that you'll have AAAA overall might put you "ahead" of AAA candidates when it comes to any "near miss" decisions.
