How can I stop saying slurs while drunk

If i get absolutely hammered I say them bc drunk me thinks it’s funny but im not like that normally im always so embarassed the next day and idk how to stop it bc everyone will think im racist when im really not.
I mean, alcohol doesn't inherently make people say slurs. If you're saying slurs when you're drunk it is in fact, due to have the motivation to say them in general, and the alcohol has lowered your inhibitions enough that you don't care about the repercussions (at the time) of using them.

You therefore need to a) stop drinking so much and b) work through whatever underlying issues you have which makes you think it's funny to call people slurs.

Perhaps you should look at learning about the origins of those slurs, the specific discrimination the groups those slurs are conventionally applied against have faced, and think about how you would feel in that situation if you had to experience that discrimination and face those slurs knowing what they actually mean.

You stop doing it by not doing it, it's not complicated and you can't blame anyone else or even the alcohol. The fact that you keep doing it means that, yeah people will think you're a racist and likely just a matter of time before you say something in the wrong place and take a beating for it.

probably because you DO think it's funny, even as a sober person
