Optometry or Orthoptics course
Hii im a bit confused about choosing my Uni courses. Im wanting to apply for Optometry at GCU but dont have the grades for it yet. I’m also wanting to apply for their Orthoptics course as a backup (as i have the grades) but im afraid that they will just deny entry for optom and just give me an offer for optom. How likely is this and is it just better off if i dont apply for orthoptics at all?
Also just to add that I am relying on GCU optom as my university as Its the closest to me.

Hi I’m also applying to the same 2 courses!
I would just apply to both, I mean you have 5 choices to make so you may as well
Would like to hear more and potentially get in contact as we are applying to the same courses which we can help each other with!
