not sure on applying to LSE

hi everyone, i want to apply to LSE for Maths and Economics, my stats are 4A* predicted in Maths FM Physics and Econ but I'm worried about GCSES. My GCSES are all 9-7 and I have a 7 in maths, a small portion of my reference talks about the family grievance that occurred during the GCSE period but I'm wondering if its enough. In short, I dont wanna waste a slot and I'm scared they'll reject me for talking about other unis in my PS (I did like a scheme thing for Econ) and not mentioning LSE in my PS directly. In short, I don't wanna waste a slot, so pls tell me if you think I should even bother applying! Thank you

GCSE results would matter less as schools mainly look at most recent test results as why would you look at GCSE's which happened 2 years ago to A levels that happened more recent. that doesn't mean they wont completely ignore it though, they might look over it and also your A level predicted. Also in the nicest way possible you shouldn't "care" about taking a slot as it doesn't effect you, if you apply you have a chance pf getting in, if you don't apply as your scared of taking a slot there is a 100% chance you wont get it. Can't get in if you haven't submitted a application, might get in if you submit a application. You understand what I am saying?

You could always try applying post-A-Level with your grades achieved and certificated!!! 🙂

I think you have a fairly good chance! Your Stats are great and you can mention universities if it’s about a masterclass or seminar you had - just don’t show any bias! Good luck,
