The Student Room Group

A Level URGENT help/advice!!

Hey guys,

I'm in Year 12 studying bio, chem and maths (all edexcel). I have a bunch of independent study lessons everyday (sometimes max I have 5 which is basically about 4 hours a day) and the problem is that the common room is always so noisy I can't get any work done and I feel like I am wasting a lot of time just sitting there and can barely read a few sentences. Any help please and what work should I do during these private lessons for all A*s? Thank you

maybe you could get some noise cancelling headphones to help with the noise? I have them and they are helpful, you can get cheaper ones from eBay:smile:

Library is the best place to be if possible.
I find white noise with regular headphones useful.
Im looking into noise cancelling headphone and have found that the best ones are the sony XM4's or the BOSE ones (im hoping to snag a good black friday deal)
