Edinburgh offer possible or good??

I want to study a JH in English Literature/History, and it's my top choice so far on UCAS, which has a standard grade requirement of A*AA

My A Level predicted grades are (A*AB) (A* in History, B in English Lit)
My AS Level Grades were (AAB) and an A at EPQ
My GCSE grades: (9,9,9,8,8,8,7,7,7,6)

I'm doing well in English Lit so far so maybe an A might be in my reach?? If not, with the predicted grades I have, will an offer for Edinburgh be likely or possible? Anyone else studied a similar course and gotten in with similar predicted grades??

My daughter just got an offer to study English and History at Edinburgh. She's on a gap year so already has her A Level results, hence the early offer, I guess. It looks like an amazing course, especially the chance to do a year abroad. I'm no expert but I reckon you'd need to get that English B up to an A. Are you applying this year?

i would recommend handing in as many english lit essays at around an ‘A’ level to your teachers and then ask them if they could update your predicted grade to an A with the evidence of those essays. good luck!
