Feel like I have no choices
I’m currently in my last year of high school (in Scotland) and am in the process of writing my personal statement for uni but I only have a vague idea of what I want to do and I don’t feel like I have many choices available + can’t get into any Unis I like. Some of my friends have already gotten unconditional offers from unis with less highers than me but I put it down to it mainly being their course choice and good personal statements (with a little bit of leaps eligible added in).
I got 8 As at nat5 and last year, in Higher, I got 3 Bs and 5 As, but one A was in advanced music which I did a higher in - in the same year - so I’m not sure it counts, meaning I’d have 4 As. One of my top choice unis asks for 5 As and I just don’t think they’d let me in. Do you think I should still apply there? I don’t see the point if there’s no chance in me getting in.
I’m also just so terrified of the future because I’m done for!!
