Edge Hill diversity

So i’ve applied for Edge Hill Uni for September 2025 entry and was wondering how diverse it is there in terms of different ethnic groups? As a poc it’s an important factor for me but i can’t seem to find anything about it.

It's mostly white English students from Liverpool and Lancashire (mostly Liverpool) and some of Greater Manchester. So if that's important to you, and I'm sure you have good reasons for it being important, then it's not the best choice. It has no gates on the front entrance so you could literally just put a backpack on (so you look like a student) and walk in and have a look around. There's hardly anyone who's not white English there.

Most of the POC left my course for many reasons, but I agree with the above poster, it is 99% whites

Just to clarify, I'm talking about the Ormskirk Campus (that's the main campus).

I've no idea about the Manchester one but the University and Union both act like that doesn't exist anyway. It doesn't even have a food outlet. I went there once and there was hardly anyone around so wasn't possible to tell the diversity. Building looked rubbish though. It's not purpose-built - it's a bunch of offices for various companies and charities. And no accommodation on site and no car park even for visiting people. The private car parks and council car parks in Manchester are all a rip off.

Was it because of racism in a lot of cases? I know there is a minority of people who intentionally and actively choose Edge Hill University, no doubt tricked by the campus and the claims, but I discovered it's more of a last resort university for chavs.
