MMU Physiotherapy Interview

Does anyone have any tips for MMU interview? If they have previously done one what was it like?

It is against TSR guidelines to post details of interviews as it gives an unfair advantage to those who follow.

There are so few jobs in Physiotherapy at present, as NHS Trusts are skint and aren't hiring many at all. So there are far more out of work Physiotherapy graduates than there are new jobs, especially in major towns and cities.

If there are less physiotherapy jobs now and more unemployed physios, why were some universities encouraged to open new physiotherapy schools? There were quite a few in the last few years.

The NHS is in a mess. There is a need for more physios across the UK, as well as doctors, nurses, etc. But the funding to hire more of these professionals wasn't provided by the last Tory government. Labour are looking to address these shortcomings, but it will take time. If an NHS trust doesn't have the budget to hire new physios, they won't, and it is possible that they could let go of some physios to balance the books.

Some physios start work in private practice, but the pressure for them to see lots of patients to meet the KPI targets set each day is tough on their energy levels, working full throttle all day.
