Conservatoire/Uni Accepting 2025

Hi! I have like many been torn between the conservatoire/uni degree situation- ultimately I have applied to conservatoires and unis. For conservatories I think it is 7th Feb that I have to reply? When I accept, can I only accept the uni OR conservatoire or can I accept both if it is a conditional conservatoire offer and choose on results day? Bit confused because I'm sure I know of people who have chosen on results day but this seems to go against what online is saying. Thanks x

But a conservatoire offer isn't normally predicated on getting A Level results (they don't care!) is it?

My understanding is that you are able to accept offers from both, but once you have (in June assumedly) UCAS will then make you confirm whether you wish to carry forward your UCAS or UCAS Conservatoires offer selection. You are not able to carry them both on to results day, and you cannot mix and match like a Conservatoire reserve or conditional and then a Uni offer, or vice versa.

This is just my memory from having researched this earlier this year and calling and emailing UCAS, although it did not ending up being relevant to my situation so I may be a tad rusty. Perhaps give the UCAS Conservatoires hotline a call yourself to double check!
