SFE Postgrad Loan Pending - Should I wait to register?
I have accepted a place to study an MSc at UWE starting Jan 2025. I have just received registration information from the uni, however I am still waiting for confirmation on whether my student finance masters loan has been approved. I want to register as having a student email will allow me software access that will help with course prep. However, as far as I understand, registration makes me liable to pay fees? I don't know if I'm correct in understanding this, so my question is, should I wait until I have confirmation from student finance that my application is approved before registering? To clarify, I cannot afford to pay the fees without the loan.

Hi there. This is something you would need to contact the university regarding. It's not up to student finance if you would be charged for registering before the course starts. Thanks, Leah.
