maths oxford interview date
hi, applied to somerville and haven’t heard anything back. i know subjects like biochem etc have heard back and im wondering if maths is usually later than others or if i should be expecting to hear back soon???
if so im guessing its because the MAT was the last exam. just trying to prepare myself because i feel very nervous
any info about somerville or maths applicants is appreciated <3

Same here. Have applied for Oxford Maths at Exeter. but have not heard anything back from them.
Found the MAT was a bit harder than past papers. But I felt I did ok.. Gut-feel around 70%. Hope I will receive an interview invite.

I notice that Somerville have said that their maths interviews will be Tier 1 - no virtual whiteboard - has anyone got any more information about how this will impact the interview? It's hard to see how a maths interview will work without one!

I am also a Somerville Maths applicant! I asked someone I knew who does maths at another college to get more information, and apparently in previous years they used the whiteboard on microsoft teams

Thanks for replying - Somerville admissions responded saying that they ask you to use a pen and paper and simply hold it up to the camera! They did say that 2nd college interviews may well be true tier 3 and require miro.
I'm sure they know what they are doing!
