How are people feeling post deadline?

Joined this thread after deadline and I’m feeling anxious! Loool but still hopeful. Does anyone know how long before 1st round interviews are sent? Would we have to wait another month to hear back?

Called Red Lion Chambers today as I didn’t received a confirmation email, they’ve let me know, as they’re having to do it manually, it can take up to next week for them to get back to us

I hope there was a better answer, but it really does completely depend on the set. Fair guess would be that things will start rolling a few weeks from now.

Pessimistic...I don't know why but it feels like there were fewer opportunities this year.

I'm afraid there isn't a better answer than the one that's already been given. There are some who turn things around very quickly, but for most sets the process will take at least a few weeks. If you're eyeing a particular set their pupillage policy or related parts of their website might give you more information.

That’s interesting, in crime, it feels almost the opposite where everyone seems to be recruiting and that most, if not all, top sets are recruiting more than they usually have in the last few years

Where on the gateway were we meant to put referees? I didn't see it anywhere, on the applications I made there's nothing missing either so not sure where

Nowhere - only some chambers are asking post deadline

Hi. It's my first time applying for pupillage. What does it mean if one of my applications has changed from "In Process - You do not need to do anything at this time" to just "In process"? Do I need to do something?

Hey, I put on my application that in my GDL I averaged 74% across all modules - but I’ve just checked my transcript and some of the modules were weighted only half and one was weighted 0, which means the overall grade was 72. It is correct that of all the modules which were marked, my average mark was 74%. I’m guessing it’s probably not worth emailing chambers to clarify this? Feel like I’m being a bit paranoid. Would be grateful for anyone’s thoughts.

No, I wouldn't have thought it's worth it. It's an understandable mistake and it still gives you an average about 70. I can't see it making any meaningful difference to any sifting your application. The important thing is that you averaged above 70.

No, you don't. The status of applications has a habit of changing like the wind. All that matters once your applications are in is whether you get invited to interview or not.
