Thank you I got into biomedical sciences

Hey there! I'm Simran, a second year biomedical science student at the Cambridge campus. Firstly, congratulations on your unconditional offer!
The Biomedical science course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology and IBMS, which can enhance the degree's recognition and value in the job market. The degree also offers placement years and internship options, contributing to employability through hands on experience.
My favourite part of the degree is the fact that we can learn theoretically, through lectures, and practically via labs.
You would also be studying in the Science and engineering building, home to the fairly new Science centre which includes a 200 station- biosciences lab, computer lab and so on.
The course is made up of lectures, labs and group tutorials. Support from the university is amazing- lecturers always go above and beyond to ease any concerns or answer any question you may have, through emails or in person.
Your personal tutor is extremely useful too- they are like your uni parent! Always there to guide you in the right direction and only an email away.

Hope this helps and if you have any more questions let me know!
-Simran
