PGCE Primary Ulster university help

I desperately want to get into the primary PGCE at Coleraine. We have all been asked to do the story video due to quick turn around time (those who meet the criteria will have their videos assessed) has anyone done the video before? I was thinking of going down a sensory story route of a classic book but not too sure. The age group is 5-8

Sounds great but make sure you don't go too simple. I have interviewed students for PGCE (not at that college) and one of the biggest mistakes we saw, was candidates picking books that were too 'young' for the target age range. In teaching it's all about challenge and high expectations of our learners. They're also looking at your communication skills so make sure you're positive and enthusiastic and ensure clarity in whatever you say. Best of luck! You'll smash it I'm sure. 🤞
