University Of Wolverhampton

Hello!

I am applying to do midwifery in 2025 and was thinking of having the university of Wolverhampton as one of my choice’s.

I had some questions about the university as I have heard the reputation about the area. I wanted to know what everyone else thinks?

Is the actual university good? The area? What’s nearby? The nightlife?

Hey! I’m also applying for midwifery 2025 & I am born bred Wolverhampton. Like any area there’s good and bad parts, unfortunately the university halls are located in the rough part BUT it’s not that bad. The nightlife is quite good once you get to know where you like etc! Are you fresh out of a levels or a mature student?

I know you posted this a while ago but the Midwifery Degree via University of Wolverhampton is based at the Walsall Campus and not City Campus therefore you may not be in Wolverhampton much unless you are using the library, the Harrison Library at City is open longer/more flexible hours or if you are possibly on placement over that way.

That being said, Walsall Campus is lovely as only the professional courses run from there (City is everything), only downside is they don't have a Costa haha.
