It's my first term of year 12, and so im applying for PPE in oxford/lse/kcl/ucl/edinburgh next year.
What else do I need to do? For maybe a bit more balance what could I do in terms of Philosophy? Right now does my application look good?
What should I do to make it even better?

Any and all advice, particularly from PPE students in these unis, would be great!
Many thanks

I'm applying this year and your application is way stronger than mine! I'd say definitely read some philosophy before you worry about doing super impressive extra curriculars, but also make sure you have some free time, that's a crazy amount of things to have done within 1 term!

Thank you!
I’m a bit stressed about the GCSE 7 grade :frown:
Hopefully that doesn’t do too much for unis!

mate i’m not applying for ppe but let’s be real
assuming you get those hypothetical predicteds and can write a convincing personal statement about all the cool supercurriculars you’ve done you’ll be fine
and for oxford, all the above and doing well on tsa should bag you an interview. and then its the interview that counts for the offer.
i’d say don’t do any more supercurriculars for your application but do it if you genuinely enjoy it. focus on getting those predicteds. because i also go to an incredibly academic school, and in schools like those it is not easy to get all A* predicteds because you have to be one of the best in an already strong cohort.
good luck
(ps: sorry i take back part of what i said, i have no suggestions but yeah doing something philosophy related would be a good idea. possibly read a book? i’m sure you’ll find suggestions online. you could check this out to start with https://www.ppe.ox.ac.uk/how-prepare)
