yeah the apprenticeship is really good, I setup an accommodation forum for general queries on the student room, you can find it by searching my user name, currently I'm looking for someone to house share with in my current flat because it has 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms so its kind of a no brainer to save money

Thanks for the info, hopefully i hear back from the in March

What BAE Systems like? And how has the support been on both the uni and employer side?

BAE is great, the early careers team is very supportive, you get put in placement fairly quickly but most line managers are extremely nice, Uni is Uni, there is way less work then lets say someone actually attending uni, but you
get fellow apprentices who will help you out

Is the BAE Systems video interview AI assessed or will the recruitment team actually review it…?

To be honest they never said, best not to worry about it, the live interview will be the more important factor

I applied to it a few days ago! How long do they take to move you on from initial application?

Hi, I recently applied for Bae systems project management scheme about a few weeks ago in London and still haven't heard anything back. Should I still stay patient and hopeful that I get a response or do you think I've applied too late?

If the application window is still open then you’ll get an equal opportunity

Hello! How long does it normally take to receive an online assessment email after initial application? I've applied mid Jan and still nothing. I feel like that's not a hopeful result for progressing forward 😞

I applied mid Jan for an aerospace engineering course and received an online interview assessment within 2 days. After completing it, it said that they would inform me about AC around March.

For those who have gotten a digital interview are you able to share what kind of questions are on it or the theme of the questions if you have done it or are planning to next few days.

I believe we all receive the same 4 questions. Although i dont remember exactly what the questions entail but if you use the STAR method, you cant pretty much answer all of them. The questions are really generic and personality based.

Did the online assessment last week for sales. Is AC virtual for this role

There’s no AC, just a final interview,

Could be online or in person.

Hi dude. Yes, the interview will be behavioural-based at this stage and partly in the final interview if you get there. They would also have some motivation-related questions. I remember being asked why I wanted to do an apprenticeship. The assessments will be a mix of maths and other stuff.
The best way to prepare is to first look at all of BAE's values, then look at the STAR method and see if there's anything you've done that you can link to the value and talk about via the STAR method. The behavioural questions will link to these values. If it's motivation-based, like why you want to do an apprenticeship, you won't need the STAR method as such. Its up to you where you think it'll be better.
If you don't know what the STAR Method is, it stands for:
S - Situation (give an overview of the situation you were in)
T - Task (What was your responsibility in the situation)
A - Action (What did you do in the situation)
R - Results (What were the results due to this. This can be good or bad; you will have questions possibly where they ask if something went wrong and what you learnt)
So, in recap on how to prepare: look at their values, note down situations you've been in where you've had to show these behaviours and learn about the STAR method. You will have 3 minutes to prepare before you answer each question, if I recall correctly. Also, be aware they could have changed it around since I had mine, so perhaps they'll ask some other questions. Regardless, looking at their values and using STAR will be your main thing.

Hi bro hope your good im applying for an apprentice with bae systems and just wondering about the assessment like the games aspect is there any practice stuff or anything
