Joint course personal statement

I'm applying to a variety of courses like "journalism and English literature", "journalism and media" and "journalism and film studies". Would I have to write separate personal statements? I was thinking to just write one that heavily focuses on journalism and just add bits of English literature, media and film to have them all in one. Is that fine or should I just write separate ones?

When you apply for university courses you can only send off one personal statement so its better to attempt to combine all the information needed for your courses into one piece of writing. As you seem to be picking courses with similar topic areas i.e. journalism it would be best to centre your personal statement on journalism and insert aspects of your other topic areas throughout the personal statement. It will also be useful if you aim to find overlapping skills between topic areas that you can discuss in detail. However, if you want to write more than one personal statement you can and then just combine them later on if that is helpful for you.
