stuarts and cold war aqa alevel history - anyone achieved an A*

to sum it up i’m in year 12, got a 9 at gcse, but i’m really struggling with the alevel. i’ve got a post up about this in more depth but does anyone have any advice/tips/help? even better if you’ve done/are doing the same topics as me. we do mini essays bi-weekly and i consistently get a 6/10 in stuart’s and a 5/10 (😬) in cold war. it feels like im stuck at this mark and really want to do better since it feels like everyone’s got it down but me:
