Is the University of Nottingham good?

I'm going to do an undergraduate social work degree. I know Notts is a Russell Group and it does seem to be good for my course.
What I'm trying to say is, why does it have this reputation behind it being what's the word, crazy unserious, party central. Or is that just NTU?? Or is it just the whole of Notts in general?? Idk I just want to be taken seriously, I'm a bit Naive when it comes to this stuff so I thought I'd ask questions. IK a degree is a degree at the end of the day but stilll
