Hi, I'm a year 13 student looking to study architecture at university of Liverpool, they have emailed me saying I can either send in a portfolio or go to their applicant Selection Workshop. I was wondering if anyone knows what the workshop is about and what we have to do there.

It might be worth asking this in the 2025 architecture applicants thread:

Hi! I emailed the university about this and they said workshop will include guided sketching activities and a short design modeling activity in a group of around 20 other applicants. They emphasized there would be no competitive element to it, it’s more of a supportive and informal imitation of what the architecture course at Liverpool is actually like. I am attending one too rather than submitting the portfolio, from what i’ve heard it seems very friendly and a better way to gauge your suitability for the course.
