TMUA for imperial

I'm applying to imperial, UCL, Warwick, Durham, King's college London for maths.

GCSEs: 7766665554
Predicted: A*A*A in maths, further maths and computer science
TMUA: 5.4

Is my TMUA score good or bad, because I've seen that the grading scale has changed?
Its a very decent TMUA, I've seen apparently its equivalent to like a 6.7 to 7 on the old scale

Probably a dumb questions but will the universities recognise this? I've only seen Durham acknowledge the grade change on their website
I got a 5.9 in TMUA and I'm wondering the same thing because I feel like there's not much information about what a good score is and what isn't. I want to apply to imperial but idk if our scores are good enough or not?

I'm still going to apply, it's a bit stupid that they didn't really make the grade change clear. I had to find out through reddit and the Durham website.

Warwick are already giving out maths offers (I've got mine) so if you haven't received one it might be over for you.
That score is probably good for Durham, but I'd honestly be amazed if Imperial give you an offer. Imperial give less than 10% of candidates offers so you'd really want to be at least in the top 10% of TMUA takers, so above a 7.0 grade.
I agree, it is very improbable to get imperial, but u could get durham

I havent sent my application yet, if I send it next week or so can I still get an offer?

UAT said last year 6.5 would get 5.0 in 2024. However, if you look at the percentile, a score of 5.4 would put you in 66th percentile (which is where a 6.5 last year would put you at). So the shift from 5.0 -> 5.4 probably caused by a different 2024 cohort (more Maths sitters as Warwick and Imperial Maths require TMUA starting this year)?

I got 6.2 TMUA this year (80-83th percentile), which would be like 6.9-7.0 last year. Predicted IB 45/45. Still have not heard from Warwick Math yet.

I would talk to whoever handles applications at your school, you are possibly slightly disadvantaged by applying a bit later after some offers have already come out, but if you would have gotten an offer if you'd applied earlier you'll probably still get one if you apply soon.
5.9 is very tentative for imperial

With due respect, I am not sure if the offer rate would be a good proxy for TMUA cutoff threshold.

Assuming that it would be a good proxy, the offer rates of Imperial are 30% (Bsci) and 40% (MSci), would correspond to a TMUA cutoff approximately 65th percentile (which would be 5.4-5.5 this year) imo.
