But you are dramatic and you do exaggerate.
(See thread title.)

I have been seeing doctors about migraines I get (which can be debilitating and last for up to a week), stomach pain which can also be debilitating to the point I'm unable to stand up for approximately 10 minutes when one of the waves of pain hits, and sleeping difficulties that sometimes cause me to be awake for 48 hours. Which part of that doesn't warrant/deserve treatment in your opinion?

I said in the post that I know they can’t prescribe me anything online, I was expecting an indication of what I will be prescribed when I see a GP in person rather than being dismissed.

So suffering from kidney failure ( your words) you just phoned up for a chat. !

My kidneys are not currently failing but previous blood tests have shown they are getting worse and my doctors are choosing to let the problem go untreated until it does reach the point of actual kidney failure

If the UK system isn’t listening to you, use the compulsory insurance that you took out in order to study abroad and get an appointment with a specialist. At least if they come back with the same reply you’ll finally trust your local GP and if they find something else you’ll have been treated quicker than if you wait to travel home.

Not what your title said, and unless you have studied medicine how do you know that you will end up with kidney failure. One slightly raised marker on a blood sample doesn’t automatically mean that your on the slippery slope!

I'm planning to register with and see a different GP when I get home and I'd rather do the consolation in English

Two separate blood tests have shown my kidney function getting worse over time

"Kidney failure".

I have never said the words kidney failure to a doctor, I have been going about the pain that I am experiencing and they discovered my kidney function was below average from doing blood tests

Most European doctors speak excellent English.

You used that phrase in the title of this thread. Therefore you are being dramatic and exaggerating, because your kidneys are not "failing" even if they are getting worse.

Yeah and what if the doctors find an anonymous post I made online, right! You're more than welcome to explain how the title of an anonymous post I made means I don't merit/deserve medical treatment for being in debilitating pain for around half the days of my life.

They warrant treatment. The treatment just isn't going to be strong opiates and benzodiazepines like you want it to be.

That's one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read on tsr, and believe me, I've read a lot.

Have you ever stopped to think you might have turned into a massive hypochondriac as a result of your anxiety, and the thing that you need more than heavy-duty painkillers is some therapy?

I haven’t requested any drugs by name yet, I’d be open to any treatment they’d give me but they are yet to offer me anything

No one said you don't deserve medical treatment, they're saying you don't deserve to be taken entirely seriously because you have a varying relationship with the truth.
Let's just play devil's advocate here and say you're having kidney issues, in this case you should be asking your doctor if he recommends a low potassium diet, and if so to give you a diet sheet detailing which foods to avoid.

My husband has stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease and is on a strict low potassium diet, but currently no medication.
