Muslim girl starting Leeds uni 2025 looking for accomodation

Heyyy I got an offer for Leeds for Arabic, Islamic & MENA studies too and I’m from londonn n considering putting it as firm and I’m still bit nervous about the whole accomodation but seeing ur post makes me feel a lot better

Salam!! Actually ive got an offer an Manchester Uni for the same course which is where i live so i thought id go there instead since its more prestigious and i wouldn’t have accommodation costs, id be pretty silly to go to leeds now.. Though if ur planning to move out id recommend manchester way more its certainly the best city in england<3

I actually got my offer just a few days after sending my ucas, like in 3-4 days. Its for arabic studies yes and its a contextual offer so lower grade entry for me. Btw i went to the open day and its actually arabic AND MENA studies but thats not the course title online but you will be studying MENA there. If you get accepted i completely recommend Manchester over leeds, its very dead in leeds idk if you went to the open day 🥲 Lmk what you choose!!

I will definitely let u know my ucas got sent off nov 17th and i got an offer from a ldn uni the next day n mcr have received my application but im still waiting they r lowkey taking longggg

A levels BBC cause low income family/ parents never went uni and other things that meet their criteria

Yess its so nice especially oxford road, so close to picadilly and so many cool urban places, its alot cheaper aswell a bit more expensive than leeds but so worth it. When i went leeds it was a saturday and their town was empty on a WEEKEND..

Yehhh once u get 5/5 offers u can start doing your firm (the uni u wanna go) and insurance (backup)
