UCL Natural Sciences Reviews

Applied to UCL Natural Sciences (Biological & Life Sciences) this year and wanna ask you guys for feedback and advice!! May I know how is the course (Like how are the professors, the workload, the organisation of the course, students' satisfaction, etc?) And may I ask is it difficult to connect with people (Esp. Worldwide scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs) and look for jobs after graduating? Thanks!!

Hey I'm not a natural science student but chemistry and there is many natural science students in my modules. The ones I've spoken to have said they've enjoyed the course so far. If chemistry is one of the streams your considering going down I can go into more detail.
For networking UCL does offer lots of career talks and other good opportunities that they send emails about so I'm sure you'd be able to find ways to connect to people. As for jobs after graduating I cant really comment yet as its too early - Hope that helps

Hi May, in terms of career prospects both in and out of STEM (e.g finance, consulting, even law etc) , what do you think is the more optimal option- Natural sciences or Chemistry/ Chemistry w management ? I am a current offer holder for Natural Sciences at UCL and am considering switching to Chemistry w management as although I enjoy chemistry, I'm also interested in more lucrative career options after graduation. Do you know if there is a major difference in workload between the two? Thanks!
