About 4 weeks for an interview and then a week after I heard I had a place. I’m nervous about the lack of job opportunities though.

Well done that is fantastic. They obviously didn't want you sweating about a decision over the Christmas holidays!

I sent my application for PDGE (Secondary) in Physics the other day for Napier and Edinburgh and just wondering if anyone has heard back about interviews from those universities yet and how long it was between applying and getting an interview?

Hi there,

I can't remember the questions word for word, but roughly as follows:

1. What things did you take away from the introduction to the course video (sent via the email)?
2. What is the role of the teacher outside of teaching the curriculum?
3. What experience/ skills do you have that you can bring to the primary education setting.
4. What social, economic and technological factors do children face and how can we support them?
5. Scenario based question.

I spoke a lot and had to be cut off at times as it is such a quick interview! My interviewer was lovely, but I was soooo nervous. I got an offer one week after my interview.

I didn't get an email at first, it was through UCAS track (which I was alerted to by email). Just keep going to application to check for updates maybe? I applied in Nov and got an interview date in the Dec. That was for PGDE primary.
