i got a 4.1 in tmua and applied for cambridge econ. I've been offered an interview but I'm not sure if tmua is going to bring me down significantly? I've been predicted 4A* and I think my ps and references are pretty solid though

It you have been offered an interview then you have a chance. TMUA is one of the pieces of information they consider but not the only one. I would focus on preparing for the interview and give yourself the best possible chance.

Your TMUA score is quite a bit lower than the average successful applicant, but with an absolutely stellar interview, you may yet stand a chance.
If they have offered you an interview, that is because you do have a chance. Remember, not all TMUA test takers are applying for Economics - in fact, the majority are applying for even more Mathematics-focussed courses.
