Hey. Firstly congrats on having interview invitation

I had mine last week. You really don't need to worry about it too much. The only bit I recommend practice on would be solve design questions where you would be given a scenario and tasks, you would be asked to provide solutions to them, there's no definite right or wrong answer, having a logical reasoning behind your answer is key. As, these questions take about 40% of the interview in terms of time.

Another point worth noticing is that the interview's pace is quite fast, getting used to quick questions and answering them is important.

Hope it helps and good luck with your interview.

Hello. Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. A*, A, A* and A predicted respectively. Well for extra-curricular, some contests like UKMT SMC and some other small projects that had designing and making in the process. Hope this helps.

Thank you! Do you think not doing further maths and getting A*AA predicted is still a strong set of grades, or no? Thank you!

ESAT?

ESAT is required as the entrance exam, so yes, you also need to be good at ESAT

Then I don't know. I believe with FM, your application is a lot more competitive.

It should be fine as long as you can prove your mathematical ability in the ESAT?

I got maths question (sketch quadratic graph and tangent at x=2) and a mechanics question about forces and pulleys. I also got a problem solving questions. These were unexpected as I was told by others that the only technical question they got was a maths question. They didn’t ask about my personal statement. Think about why you want to do it over other forms of engineering.
