repeating year 12

so obviously if youve seen my last post that ive been missing out on a lot of school due to personal reasons. i believe my attendance is 54% since august which is horrific considering ive only been at school for a term and a bit. im wondering whether i should just repeat year 12 if i do badly on my as levels. for context im currently getting Ds and Es for each of my subjects right now and im getting my school grade report by the end of this term. or is it too early to tell whether i should repeat year 12? i dont know... i kind of dont want to as id be with people one year younger than me and itll just feel awkward and embarrassing. how many people actually repeat a year anyways? id like to know the statistics of this as im curious and i dont want to feel as if im the only one feeling this way. i need to get at least BBC to get into the uni i want and if i dont get that then ill have to go straight into employment or go into the open university since they dont have grade requirements. probably straight into employment since several people in my life have been saying that distance learning can be quite isolating which i agree to some extent. and anyways id be at an advantage if i went straight into employment since ill be in no student debt and ill earn more money to start off with than a 21/22 year old fresh graduate. thanks.

I repeated Year 13. It wasn't a big deal.

you mean in terms of going to uni? either criminology and criminal justice or mental health nursing, which both require BBC-BBB to get in. im aiming to go into hertfordshire university since thats my local university and itll be accessible for me since im disabled.
