Or to put it another way, if you met someone who had posted all of the above, would you think that they were prime dating material, or someone that needed to get a grip?

Nonsense. I had a couple of very awkward dates at the tail end of being 17 and then all of my dating proper was from 18 onwards. This has made no difference to my life whatsoever. Fixating on what other people were doing would have.

With respect, you obviously don't know the full story with this user.
I suggest you check the history of this user. He only posts about how he'll never get laid and how life is over for him... ignoring all the good advice other people have tried to give him. You obviously didn't check the disclaimer in my post, where I said I was only adopting this tone because the user wouldn't listen, and I would "be nice" if he was actually serious in helping himself. If he'd show some real effort or commitment to helping himself out, there'd be no need for this post
