Imperial EEE 2025 Interview

I applied to Imperial for engineering in October for early entry. I did the ESAT and didn’t do too well. As of recent, I received an email saying that my application is on hold and that they’ll call more people for interviews in February. I also received another email asking for my ucas id and esat related details. Does this mean I’m basically rejected? Help I’m so scared.

Hi, I’m confused because I had my interview earlier this week, thinking they knew my esat scores but I just got that email today telling me to link it aswell. Not sure how they shortlisted students then

So confused because I was rejected a day after they emailed me saying that they haven't received my esat scores yet. I took them this october. How did they reject me without even receiving my ESAT score?? My predicted a-levels are all A*A*A*. something seems off.

That is really weird tbh. However, according to one of the admissions people at Imperial that message was sent out to many people on accident, so if they didnt make a mistake rejecting you it was likely because they still had your ESAT anyways. Maybe email to check and see if they made a mistake? Sorry to hear that decision and hopefully you get offers elsewhere

Im not sure it means ur getting rejected tbh, perhaps theyre just waiting for the people in january to complete ESAT? you shouldnt write urself off tho, perhaps it was because they begun considering the application slightly later they just decided to throw it in with all the late applications

This is really weird because I know ppl on Reddit who got 8 avg on ESAT not receiving interview invite from EEE, and I didn't get one too despite scoring 7.4 avg. Perhaps Imperial EEE has some administrative issues rn

they're probably waiting until next ESAT sitting finishes, then will invite for interview

I have received an Interview for the 27th of Feb. Someone else in my class has also received an interview offer. I’m pretty sure they’re starting to come out now.

I got an interview invite on 13th February, for 18th February at 14:00. I'm literally on holiday, they didn't give me much of an option!

I’ve just received mine as well, literally two minutes ago. It’s on 25th of February

I've applied for EIE though, not sure if that makes a difference.

My interview for the 27th is for EIE not EEE.

Cool, hope it goes well. Fairly random but what did EIE people apply for elsewhere? None of my other choices are engineering options, actually CS courses, (one Maths with CS).
