Contextual offers for University of York for History/Politics Equal

I am applying to York to study History/Politics joint honours, and the grade requirement is AAA, but the contextual offer is ABB. My postcode is gets flagged as a deprived area on all of those checkers, would I have to specifically mention that I live in a deprived area and may be eligible for a contextual offer on my application or would it automatically be flagged when it gets sent in? And therefore should I just send it in as normal?

All the info that Unis might use for Contextual offers is already within your UCAS application - name of school / postcode / FSM etc. You don't need to 'do' anything else.

As long as you get the a in either history/politics (if youre doing them at alevel and if of course york is your firm choice) youll probably get in

Hi!

You will be considered automatically as your postcode comes up in the checker - you can find out more here 🙂
