Revision wise.

Revision wise.

Forget content revision, just do past papers basically. Find a list of past papers on the exam board website, set a timer and do the paper, and then mark. Just keep doing that.

Knowing your content is good too, but if you’ve got limited time, spamming past papers would do you wonders. You can get better at timing and you’d learn what the examiners actually want you to put down, you can get pretty efficient in exams if you know what to write. Exams basically repeat questions, not word for word, but fairly close to it.

You can also watch a bunch of GCSE past paper walkthroughs which is the next best thing really.

If you have glaring gaps in your knowledge after marking papers, you can fill those in with content revision. Past papers also help you cut out what you actually don’t need to revise and spend time on what you really don’t know.

Revision wise, I’d say first try a practice paper to gauge the knowledge and skills you have so far. Analyse that practice paper thoroughly and ‘traffic light’ highlight topics you struggle with. Prioritise the red topics.

My tips to review the red topics is to go over your notes again, watch YouTube videos and then you can slowly begin to retry topic based questions e.g in textbooks.

Also do make use of any clinics offered by your school.
