What’s King’s College London like?

I’ve heard London universities can be isolating. Is this true in KCL’s case?

That's in every university, you need to be sociable and try to make friends.

It can be if you don't make friends quickly, or don't join at least a few clubs or societies. Nobody is obliged to be your friend, just like you are not obligated to be theirs. On the plus side, the large international mix of students gives KCL a good feel.

Yeah I know university can be isolating if you don’t put yourself out there. My question was more on if KCL is especially so

I was referring to KCL. The uni is broken up into different buildings all over London, and most students don't live in halls in the first year like at other campus unis outside of London. A lot of students live at home with their parents and commute in to KCL.
