Have you looked at the GCSE requirements on the course page? If you don't meet the GCSE requirements, it will most likely be an immediate rejection.

Theres no GCSE requirements for biomedical engineering and I passed everything but it's do you think they'll care about GCSES

There’s two sides for GCSE’s:

- Minimum requirements stated clearly on course pages
- overall profile scored for competitive courses only

For the second, it’s decided on a course by course basis. It’s not as simple ans all courses at the same uni are assessed the same way. Which is a roundabout way of saying you need to ask the unis directly.

As above - for competitive Unis they will often use your overall GCSE profile as part pf their assessment - and to separate applicants with the same A level grades. Is there a reason your GCSEs are low grade?

Remember that most schools will allow you to retake Maths or English GCSEs alongside your A levels if you now realise that you need a specific higher grade in one/both of those subjects. Any offer a Uni made would then include the GCSE grade as an extra requirement. Talk to your Head of Sixth Form or similar.
