How do employers feel about a math degree from University of Leeds?

Will a degree from the University of Leeds be respected enough for me to be able to break into the tech industry?
Why wouldn't it be?

You're talking about a degree, not a GCSE.
You're talking about a Russell Group uni, not Udemy.

I don't even know why you've asked this question.

My family make it seem like it's not good enough - it's bs I see now. I got an offer last week and want to firm it but my family have acted weird, like they expect an oxbridge level degree, which I am not built for. I loved the vibe during the open day, which I had to go with my friends because they didn't want to take me. Thanks for this - going to firm it once I get the chance!

Yeah I have parents like this too and it's so annoying, they refused to take me to the Nottingham open day in back in June. Leeds is a great uni anyway so I don't see what the problem is. U should go there if u like it, it's your degree

That’s amazing, how have they found it?

Loved it - one of them won a prize for top student! Leeds Uni supported the formation of UKMT in the 1990s and the UKMT office was onsite until the pandemic.
