Predicted Grades

I'm currently predicted ACC for my alevels with an A in maths
I want to apply to the University Of Liverpool for maths where I would need ABB.
My schools deadline is this Friday(6th).

Am I likely to be given and offer if I discuss with my teachers to be predicted ABC with a good personal statement or should I look at a different course to apply to?
Liverpool would be my first choice if I was given an offer.

Hi there,

I would see if your predicted grade could be increased to ABC as a first step!

Then, you can check to see if you are eligible for a contextual offer from the university - this normally lowers your grade requirements by one or two grades. You can check that here:
Contextual Data | Undergraduate | University of Liverpool

If not, contact the enquiries team (hopefully you will get a response before Friday!) to see if your application would be considered with your predictions. You can find the contact info at the bottom of the course page:
Mathematics BSc (Hons) - 2025/26 entry - Courses - University of Liverpool

If they say your application would probably not be considered, then I would suggest applying for the foundation year instead. This is a 4 year course, rather than 3. The grade requirements are usually CCD/CDD for this so you can assume you will be offered a place on this. Info about this is here:
Mathematical Sciences entry route leading to BSc (Hons) (4 year route including a Foundation Year at Carmel College) - 2025/26 entry - Courses - University of Liverpool

Then, on results day, if your final grades meet the required grades for the 3 year course, the admissions team usually automatically change your offer to the 3 year course. If not, you can call them and request to be moved up from the foundation course.

Hope this helps you with your decision!
