French or Spanish A LEVEL? (Context is important)

I'm so stuck on if I should pick Spanish or French as a 4th A level at a school that is not my current school and application deadline is in 3 days. My Spanish speaking is better but the French translation on the A level looks easier (judging by past papers) but I also don't know what book and film they're going to study in either languages. They do edexcel which is a harder exam board than what I'm used to at GCSE (AQA) so I don't know which language will benefit mentally and be easier for me. Btw I'm good at both languages currently at GCSE (predicted 8 in both)

Perhaps pick the one that you enjoy more? If you enjoy it, you'll probably be more willing to work harder to 'fill the gaps' that you have. Both good language choices though!
