GYG for year 11!!

Hi everyone, I know were already a good amount through the year but I wanted to document my progress throughout the rest of year 11.

A bit about me:
- I want to go to oxford to study journalism, international relations, history, politics or something similar
- My favourite subjects are english, history and citizenship (gcse equivalent of politics)
- I plan on taking politics, english lit, history and either sociology, economics or german for A - level
- For sixth form I'm planning on LaSWAP, camden school for girls or woodhouse but camden is my top option at the moment

Subject I take, predicted grades and grades I'm aiming for :
- History (edexcel), predicted = 8+, aiming = 9
- Spanish (AQA), predicted = 8- (I think), aiming = 9
- English lit + lang (aqa), predicted = 8+, 8+, aiming = 9, 9
- Maths (edexcel), predicted = 8, aiming = 8/9 (depends on how it goes)
- All sciences (I take separate/triple but all my predicted grades are the same), predicted = 8 for all, aiming = 8x2, 9x1 (I'd love to get two 9's but not sure how realistic this is)
- Citizenship (edexcel), predicted = 8-, aiming = 9
- DT (AQA), predicted = 8-, aiming = 7/8 (I don't really care about this I just don't want to bring down my average)
- German (AQA), did this a year early as I'm fluent in it so I already have a 9!!

I don't know how regularly I'll post but I'll try to update as much as possible. Currently I have my December mocks in 11 days so I'm trying to do 3 - 4 hours of revision each day based on the revision time table I made. I've already done parts of my spanish where I got 55/60 on the speaking, 46/50 on the listening (already did the past paper for this whoops...) , and 28/60 on the reading (I had no clue we were doing the reading so was completely un - prepared in my defence).

Thanks for reading and feel free to join me on my journey!!
good luck!! <3 i’m in y13 but in y11 i’d applied to both csg and woodhouse lmao omg 😭 got waitlisted from woodhouse but tbf your predicted grades are way better than mine were, i think u have a great chance of getting offers for all the places ur thinking of
