Royal Holloway Catered Accomodation

Hi everyone! Just wondering about the catered accommodation at Royal Holloway - how much on average do you spend on food in a week, and what is the available food like ? Thank you!

Hi there,

On example of catered halls we have on campus is accommodation in Founder's. Founder’s is a catered, pay-as-you-go hall. This means that you won’t have access to a kitchen to cook your own meals but you’ll be able to buy all your meals from Founder’s dining hall at a discounted rate of approximately 50%. The 50% discount only applies to Founder’s dining hall, but you’ll also have the choice of eating in a range of other cafés and dining halls on campus and if you pay using your Student ID Card you’ll receive a 20% discount off your food. Some other cafes we have are The Hub and Crosslands. Click on these links to learn more and take a look at their menus.

I hope this helps!

Best wishes
